As individuals and families, we figure out how to live within our means, and you have every right to expect the same from your township government. The Township Supervisor is the chief administrative officer with the authority to prepare the budget and control expenditures there under.
We continue to be fiscally conservative and finish each year in the black. We have done this without raising taxes, cutting services, or canceling improvement projects. We are one of the few townships left that operates without a police or fire millage.
We erected outdoor warning sirens throughout the Township, installed running water and electricity in the Township park, helped a new high-tech business with a bright future establish itself in our Township, started a project to put sidewalks along streets and roads where kids walk to school, and paved rural roads. We did these projects without raising taxes to fund them or reducing Township services.
Together as a community we have accomplished a great deal in Napoleon. I am proud of what we have done and honored that you have chosen me to serve as your Township Supervisor for another four years.
